Battlefleet Gothic 9

Ok. More ships incoming.

The two cruisers:

The growths on top come out different each time I paint some. I swear I am doing the same thing each time...

And the Idolator escort ships:

As I really didn't like the funny angled bits on the front on some of them I cut them off.

Next the Possessed ship, think I have done the build on this. Don't think I can get any more GS on there without it looking over the top. It looks different enough from the regular cruisers to be marked out as something different. I shall undercoat it now to make sure I don't do anymore.

And finally the fleet as it currently stands:

Next up:

Convert second 'fallen' Imperial cruiser.
Finish build/convertion of Battleship & paint it.
Paint the Imperial cruisers & escorts.

Currently bidding on some Infidel escorts to go with the one I have, so fingers crossed they will be on the workbench within a week or so.

  1. Fantastic! I love the fleet shot, and I agree on the restraint for the possessed cruiser - it's definitely a case of less is more. Keep up the great work - I look forward to seeing what's next!

  3. Your Fleet is fantastic. The green stuff work blends in with the orginal model perfectly and the paint scheme is really Gruesome (using 'beautiful' for a Chaos army seemed wrong)...Inspirational.

It was a lot of fun to do and I was very pleased how they turned out in the end.

Still need to paint the transport ships (oh and actually play a game with them...).
