Just been one of those weeks where I just couldn't get the motivation to work on anything.
However I forced myself to have a go, hence this update. But it is so small I didn't think it deserved the status of a proper update, hence being update 14.1 instead of 15.
Basically I added some more plating at the rear corners of the under deck structure. No detailing yet as that will be done in one go all round the under deck structure.
I made a start on the sponsons as well. Baneblade sponson at each end which will mount some Big Shootas while in the middle I am going for a big Zzap Cannon.
The Zzap Cannon will be looted Necorn guns...
They will be mounted recessed - think Malcador sponsons for what they will look like.
That is about it. No more rivets were added so no update to the running total either.
I am going to take a proper break for a few days from the Karrier. I need to cleanse the pallet by working on something completely different so I can come back to it more refreshed.
Expect an update on the new project in a day or two...
Good plan with the necron guns like. I did guess that something so large would sap motivation over time. Good work though, i do like the malcador style recessed gun idea, v. WW1, but don't put nearly a hundred rivets on it like the imperial one! :(

ReplyDeleteI've really been enjoying this project - it's primarily what's fired me up to work on my Leviathan! Hopefully I won't need as many rivets as you have though... Hah!
