Heresy Weekender 2014 - Part 2

Next batch of new pics...

Vulcan, unpainted and painted version...

Bassie and Medusa.

The WIP transport vehicle for the Army units.

The Gal Vorbak, these guys are big.

One more shot of the upcoming Knights, shown with the just released Lancer in the background.

I may do one more post in a couple of days showing alternative views of the new stuff, either way there will be another post of displays, painting comp etc.

  1. Thanks for posting these pics! Much appreciated : )

  2. These are easily the best pics I've seen from the weekend so far, detailed and well framed, nicely done sir :)

As for the FW kits it's very hard not to be blown away by them, I personally can't say I've seen anything I dislike so far.
The Mechanicum especially, for me is a major draw.
Though I will say that the paint jobs on the Primarchs looks like it could do with some work, especially the bright green on Vulcan.

Do you feel they are up to scratch or is it just the lighting/photos and they look much better in reality as is so often the case?

    1. Cheers.

To be honest it is hard to tell as the cabinets they put the models in are pretty awful, the lighting in them is horrid and makes it very hard to get good pictures at times, especially as in the case with Vulcan, the models are too close to one of the bulbs.

  3. that vulkan model looks rad

  4. Beautiful pics, thanks so much for sharing 'em!

...I'm gonna be poooooor when the Imperial army stuff starts getting released. My wallet is in big trouble! :)

  5. Thanks for the comments, glad people like the pictures.

  6. Aside from the fact that I love that you can take pictures of these event that I cannot make it too... the fact that they are all in focus and crisp is even better! I get so tired of blogs with terrible event photography :P

    1. I can understand that, always does my head in when there isn't any decent pictures of an event.

Glad I could be of service. Maybe next year you can jump on a plane and join us...
