Very, very work in progress.
Must admit i'm not liking the stripes as much as I thought I would. Still need to do a lot including the flesh, adding lots of washes, adding rust to the engine and all that is after I paint a lot of other bits and bobs (including the cockpit of course).
Looks good and I think the reason your not liking the strips is because they are too clean. Wait until you chip them up and fade them a bit. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with it. Right now you only have a few colors on it and its very dominating.
ReplyDeleteI think that is probably the case, once all the washes are on and everything is toned down I am sure (I hope) that it comes together more.
