So I think the Blight Drone is now done (except I need to putsome black in the end of the weapons, that can wait though as I can't be arsed to take all new pictures again).
So I added oil washes and rust. Please note I did not attempt to add 'realistic' rust as I would for say a tank, my thoughts are this is a Deamonically Possessed vehicle in the service of Nurgle, as such it would not naturally it would rust to the whim of Nurgle itself.

So yeah, need to add a bit of black but that can wait as I have a second Drone to do. Got an idea for the base but will need to do a mould or two first...

ReplyDeleteI like the drone (very much), but seeing them together I'm not so sold on the tree anymore. It lacks a lot of the depth of the rest of the piece and looks a bit out of place.
ReplyDeleteMaybe up the contrast, or add textures (a patch of lightning strike, a few living leaves or something similar).
I love the dark metals and bright lenses, it really pops. Strong effort all round!
