Managed to get a bit more done on the Plague Hulk, not been easy due to the World Cup and going to a gig.
But I did more on the body and the legs as well as starting on the front claws.
However I came to add the engine manifold under the body and the tubes between it and the engine block only to discover I had covered the area the manifold goes with GS and the pustules.
So I had to remove a bit...
Then mount the manifold and tubes before re-adding the pustules and GS.
All four legs now have the armour plates on and are almost finished. Still need to add the cables to two of them. May also be a bit more GS and (non dremel) texturing to do.
The front claws are in a similar state but I still have to add the armour plates. The upper arm pieces have yet to be touched other than me removing the cables (didn't bother with a picture of those).
Hopefully I'm on the finishing straight with the 'ulk. Still a fair bit to do but the end is in sight.
Really looking the part mate, shame you had to redo the bottom, poor planing there ;)
ReplyDeletePlanning? What's that?
DeleteI have just purchased a dremel which bits do you use to make the modifications?
ReplyDeleteI tend to just use the engraving bits - see latest post for a pic. They can be used to texture the surface of both plastic and resin and also be used to carve out holes and larger areas.
DeleteOccasional I may use a sanding bit but not often.
May I ask where you got those cables for the legs? Or point me in the direction of getting some myself.
ReplyDeleteApologies, I have just found a load of comments that hadn't been published or been notified about.
DeleteThe cables are available from Zinge Industries, they are called wire wrapped cables.
