Well, to cut a long story short the track turned into a nightmare.
I ended up having to replace the rear and forward wheels and remodelling areas of the track units.
So what I thought would be a short easy job took and age and nearly resulted in physical harm being carried out on the Junka.
Couple of WIP shots:
And the track all in place, not sure why I took this picture but I did so I thought I'd include it.
I think I will either do the Deff Rolla or finis the SAG off next.

IPMS Scale Model Word 2013 Redux
So this evening I spent scrubbing and cleaning up resin track for the Junka. Not my favourite job so once that was done I gave in for the evening.
With the spare time I thought i'd sort a few more pics from the model show.
And to finish some 1:1 pieces...
And because Maelstrom loved them so much here is one of the many Daleks on show:

IPMS Scale Model World 2013
So yesterday myself and Maelstrom went to the IPMS Scale Model World show and I thought I'd share a few pictures.
Keep in mind I took close to 200 so I had to whittle them down somewhat for this post.
While most models on show are scale models rather than gaming type pieces they are well worth a look as the modelling and painting work is excellent in many cases.
While this isn't as weathered as I like tanks to be I do love the interior detail shown below.
The above is a scratchbuilt model. Was very nice. And below is what appears to be a Battlestar Galactica fighter in RAF colours...
This was a great piece, unsurprisingly won an award. Got a few more pics of it, the damage modelled into the plane was very well done.
Now below is basically a large barrel...but I've not seen a better example of weathering. The rest of the piece as great detail such as the wasps (bit of a naff picture annoyingly).
Some fantasy/sci fi pieces including 40k...
And some more great examples of heavy weathered vehicles:
There were a lot of pieces like the below diorama. Couldn't really pick out one I liked most so I just picked this one at random.
This guy is great, another scratch built model. Not sure what to say about it...
I loved this vehicle. Post (zombie) apocalypse vehicle. Great weathering and stowage.
That'll do I think.
